Won't you think about adopting me?
Prince Albert is a big boy who needs a home with a nice big yard or small acreage with secure fencing. He has no trouble climbing over our 5' tall fencing, but our 6' fencing keeps him safe at home. He wants to be close to his people, and will definitely not stay in the pasture as a livestock guardian, but when the weather is good, he is perfectly content to spend much of the day in the yard with another dog for company. Bert doesn't bark excessively, so he shouldn't annoy your neighbors if he spends a lot of time outside.
Albert is NOT safe with cats or chickens. He seems to be safe with goats, donkeys, and cattle, but since he lives in the yard and NOT the pasture, we can't say that is an absolute certainty. We will adopt him out only as a pet or guardian of hearth and home, NOT as an LGD.
If you would like to adopt Prince Albert, please complete an application on our website at www.bluebonnetrescue.org/info/adoption.
