Zeeko was one of 5 dogs who were roaming a suburban neighborhood in late 2024. They were not properly socialized by their original family and were never given any veterinary care or grooming. When the family agreed to surrender the dogs, we offered to help but were told that every dog had a rescue commitment. A rescue put Zeeko into boarding while they looked for a foster home, but after a month, they decided it was better to let him go to Bluebonnet so he wouldn't be stuck in boarding.

Zeeko came from a group of unsocialized Doodles, but he is bigger than the others so we're really not sure if he's a Doodle. He looks a LOT like some Komondor mixes we have rescued in the past.

Zeeko is a friendly boy who loves to be in the house with his people. He is learning what it means to be part of a family, to live inside, and have cushy beds and plenty of food. Zeeko is good with other dogs, and WANTS people to love him but is a little nervous about accepting affection initially.
