Miss Nollie had her photo shoot and is ready to show the world what a beauty she is! Nollie is just a pup at about 8 months old, so she is still learning manners. She's getting better at walking on the leash but needs more practice. She seems mostly potty/house-trained, but never met a puppy pad she didn't think should be shredded, so when she moves to a new home, she will need to go outside frequently to reinforce good habits. (She doesn't potty in the 5' x 10' kennel where she eats and sleeps.)

Nollie is what BarkBox calls a "Super Chewer" so needs toys made for pups who "play harder" as the Bark Box website says. For now, a cozy blanket might be better than a dog bed, because dog beds seem to explode when Nollie is around.  We should add, though, that her current bed has stayed intact for at least a month so maybe she is beginning to think that beds are better for napping than for shredding.  And did we mention that she likes to dig? Yep. Be sure to invite Nollie to your garden when you need help digging holes so you can plant bulbs or hide the fortune you won playing the lottery.

Does Nollie sound like the puppy terror of your dreams/nightmares? She's really a sweetheart but has TONS of energy that needs to get burned off. With the number of dogs and puppies we currently are taking care of, we don't have the time to take her on long walks or hikes in the woods. We think Nollie could be such a great buddy for someone who lives a very active life. Hiking. Camping. Going to the lake. Nollie LOVES playing in the kiddie pool or water tub that's supposed to be for drinking but makes an excellent mini-pool in Nollie's opinion. She has never had the chance to visit a lake -- wouldn't you like to give her that chance? Submit an application for Nollie today!
